  • 8 ounces dry turtle beans/ black beans
  • 10-15 dried piri piri chiles or one finely diced serrano peppers
  • vegetable bouillon cube, such as Knorr
  • sea salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 5 cups water

  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup packed spinach
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 cups cooked black beans
  • 1/2 serrano chile

  • 2/3 cup habanero jack cheese

  • 3 cups cooked black beans
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 4 piri piri dried chiles or 1 whole jalapeño
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3/4 cup cooked black beans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 ounce 70% chocolate
  • 3/4 cup whole-wheat cake flour

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
