Walk into the midtown branch of Yotel’s lobby and you’re instantly greeted with a clean palate, a modern vibe, and a fresh scent. Is that vanilla pumping through the air ducts? Make your way to the elevator, press four and hold your breath. In front of you is an impressive 18,000 square foot interconnected meeting and enterntaining space, known as FOUR). Within, DohYO, the hotel's restaurant, awaits.  Head to DohYO on the weekend and you'll instantly be transported to a Tokyo-meets-Manhattan boozy brunch adventure. Trust us; you want to check this out.

The sharing-inspired menu at chef Richard Sandoval’s DohYO showcases his signature Latin-Asian cuisine at long communal tables hovering just above the floorboards. The main area seating, reminiscent of a seiza-style Japanese restaurant, is great for large parties who want to take advantage of the $40 all-you-can-eat-and-drink weekend brunch.

Drawings of sumo wrestlers look on as you attempt to match their colossal appetites with the endless small plates of sushi rolls, General Tso’s popcorn chicken, crab wontons, sweet & spicy bacon, and a variety of scrambled egg platters.

A DJ spinning in the background gets you into the party spirit as free-flowing carafes of bloody Marys, sangrias and mimosas arrive. Fellow guests may stage an impromptu sashay between tables like it’s a fashion-week runway, but don’t mind them—you have another round of chipotle disco fries and bacon fried rice coming your way. You can join them once you’re full (and had a few more mimosas)!

The small plates will leave you feeling sated and content within minutes, but every-fifteen-minutes, a new order is taken by your waiter or waitress, for a feast that lasts a full two hours. Come thirsty, hungry, and ready for a good time! Though we weren't sure how this brunch would play out, it's official: Richard Sandoval has struck gold again.
