A crostada is a traditional rustic Italian dessert that is usually filled with a ricotta and fruit filling. This Apple-Pear Crostada has a Latin twist by using a homemade maple crema and simmering apples and pears with the warm spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom and rosemary.
