Last week, Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival announced their 2013 line-up for the anticipated annual event which brings gourmands from all over the world together on the sunny shores of Miami's illustrious South Beach. Set to take place from February 21 – 24, the event will draw food fanatics to the signature white tents that stretch between 10th Street and 13th Street, and feature a small army of celebrity and regional personalities from around the country.

"We’re excited to share an extraordinary line-up with our fellow wine, spirits and food enthusiasts around the globe,” said Festival Founder and Director Lee Brian Schrager. “Each year we strive to bring attendees access to exclusive experiences," Schrager explained, and for 2013 new events will feature an unprecedented roster of wine, spirits and culinary talent. Some of the latest additions to the SOBEWFF schedule will include:

  • Jiro Dreams of Sushi: Film Screening and Q&A hosted by Anthony Bourdain, followed by a Sushi & Sake Reception with Katsuya Uechi
  • Garden to Glass hosted by Emeril Lagasse featuring BarLab Cocktails & My Ceviche
  • Celebrity Chef Golf Tournament hosted by José Andrés at Turnberry Isle Miami
  • Discover Ceviche & Pisco Sour hosted by Gastón Acurio & Laurent Tourondel
  • Chicken Coupe hosted by Andrew Carmellini
  • Taste & Toast with Target

During the day, the Grand Tasting Tents will showcase offerings from 40 different restaurants and more than 80 wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverage suppliers from the Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida portfolio.  In the evenings, sponsored events hosted by Michael Mina, Tyler Florence, Nigella Lawson, Michael Symon, Nobu Matsuhisa, Martha Stewart, and Trisha Yearwood will round out the offerings.

The Festival will also bring back the classics everyone loves, including the ever-popular (and gluttonous) Amstel Light Burger Bash hosted by the one and only Rachael Ray, while Bank of America Lifestyle Seminars and Wine Spectator Wine Seminars will feature the best winemakers, mixologists, restaurateurs, chefs, and culinary personalities in the business. Fontainebleau Miami Beach will again present Wine Spectator's Best of the Best and Florida Blue will host Fun and Fit as a Family featuring Kellogg’s Kidz Kitchen. Other classics like Thrillist’s BBQ & The Blues will be hosted by Geoffrey Zakarian, and the decadent, pork-fueled Swine & Wine event will be hosted by Miami's own Michelle Bernstein.

This year, the Festival's main sponsor is MasterCard®, and cardholders can purchase tickets beginning Monday, October 8th at 9:00 AM (EST) through Sunday, October 21 online at www.sobefest.com or by calling 877-762-3933. General public ticket sales open on Monday, October 22, 2012.
