We mean it.
When I was 15, I was diagnosed with epilepsy, a neurological disorder in which nerve cell activity in the brain is disturbed and causes seizures.
When I was growing up, my grandfather, who we called Bobop, only wanted to eat the bland, sterotypical Irish food he grew up with: boiled potatoes, ham, plain white rolls with butter.
Even though we always say we won’t make resolutions…. We always do. It’s too tempting to make a big list of things we want to do better while ignoring the work we have to put it in. This year we have a new resolution.
Getting healthy isn’t always picture perfect but there are plenty of moments worth celebrating. As our thoughts turn to the new year and the lifestyle changes we want to make, we’ve been seeking inspiration.
It’s starting to smell a lot like Christmas: 'tis the season of fresh baked cookies!
Give gifts that keep giving.
Look, it’s the holidays. That means cocktail party followed by holiday party followed by brunch and what you really need is a hangover cure.. which we present without judgement.
What we love this month.
