    Spicy Chile Ribs

    Spicy Chile Ribs are covered in a mixture of cayenne, ancho chile, red pepper flakes and black pepper. A pinch of salt finishes the zesty spice blend.  


    Ingredients
    1 1/2
    pounds
    beef short ribs
    1
    tablespoon
    fresh cracked black pepper
    1
    tablespoon
    crushed red pepper flakes
    1 1/2
    teaspoons
    kosher salt
    1 1/2
    teaspoons
    ancho chile powder
    1/4
    teaspoon
    cayenne pepper
    Directions
    Preheat oven to 325F.
    In a small bowl combine black pepper, red pepper flakes, salt, ancho chile powder and cayenne. Sprinkle top side of ribs with half of spice mixture.
    Place ribs on lightly oiled baking sheet, spiced side up. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
    Bake ribs for 1 hour. Pull out, flip ribs and sprinkle with remaining spice mixture. Bake for an additional hour.
    Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until crisp.
